Fueled by an integrated passion for people, design, and construction, Zeke established Root Architecture and Development in 2012. His goal was to create a firm that could more effectively serve its community and advance these core passions. By building a company from the ground up, he sought to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, ensuring every project was a testament to quality design and meaningful relationships.

Zeke's qualifications are as robust as his vision. As a licensed Architect, he crafts the aesthetic and functional blueprint for each space. As a licensed Contractor, he expertly manages the physical creation, ensuring quality and fidelity to the original design. His status as a Leed Accredited Professional adds a critical layer of expertise, cementing his commitment to green building principles and sustainable development in every endeavor.

This unique blend of professional skill and personal passion for nature is perfectly encapsulated in signature projects like the firm's private treehouse cabin. Designed to let clients live out their childhood dreams, the home is nestled in a ponderosa pine forest and features cozy digs with upscale finishings. The project's location in Indian Hills, a mountain community rich in history, places it near some of the Rocky Mountain's best attractions, including Red Rocks, Evergreen, and Three Sisters Park. The design encourages occupants to adventure on nearby hiking trails or enjoy local water sports, then end the night relaxing in a private hot tub surrounded by nothing but nature.

Away from the drafting table and construction site, Zeke is a man who thrives in the natural world. He is most at peace when sharing his love for the outdoors with his family, often found patiently fishing with his sons. For a more personal challenge and release, he takes to the high altitudes, finding clarity and strength while running the demanding but beautiful trails of the Colorado mountains.
