Colin Healy's mission is to help homeowners reinvent their homes to fit their evolving lifestyles.

Colin specializes in home transformations to allow his clients to live in their homes comfortably, safely and creatively as they grow older in their communities. Colin has developed a methodology called Next Step Home Design to assist clients with long term planning for resilient and healthy homes that meet the needs of the youngest to the oldest.

Colin also has a deep commitment to climate-conscious design. His first residential design projects in the 1980's were designing and building solar greenhouses integrated into houses for living space, supplemental heat and food production. Later, he began doing solar houses and more conventional houses with enhanced energy conservation measures. Colin helps his clients consider appropriate solutions for conservation and energy production for their homes from the very beginning of the design process.
