Shelley Boyd is a true creative entrepreneur, and an inspirational business figurehead. In a world of mass produced and often poor quality goods, Shelley has remained firmly committed to her passion for Australian manufacturing and the preservation of time honoured and revered craftsmanship.

Currently the Founder and Managing Director of Boyd Blue, one of Australia’s leading interiors wholesaler and key international design resource, Shelley’s business has showrooms right across Australia. The head office is located on the Gold Coast where Shelley’s business began and her home and family are based.

Shelley’s passion for eclectic beauty, expert service and quality craftsmanship has seen her business not only flourish but also expand during economically challenging times, when many of her competitors have sadly been forced to shut their doors.

Since she can remember Shelley has always wanted to run her own business and has been passionate about interiors and design from a very young age, with a keen interest in textiles. She recalls saving her pennies to buy her first sewing machine at just eight years of age.
